We see it over and over again, new and coming artists, producers, entertainers, models and whatever else you can think of under the horizon of the the entertainment business. Unfortunately, In music and television the criteria of what is considered talent took a tremendous nose dive. Countless amount of reality shows such as The Rock of Love, A shot of Tequila, The Flavor of Love, For the Love of RJ and the list goes on, have replaced quality TV shows which requires talented actors, writers and producers. The question is why?

There are a lot of reasons including not having to pay actors, lower production costs, etc. The bottomline is it is a quick fix sort of like fast food for the networks and for the viewers because the premise of the show is "Drama", a trainwreck coming, it doesn't require much talent to ridicule yourself especially when certain personalities have been pre-selected and placed in close proximity to create the same effect by lighting a match to gasoline. It is smart for the network, since they are able to save millions and have to involve little effort to create those reality shows.
